Business Analyst - Core Banking - Capgemini - Vietnam


Qualifications and experience:
This is a hands-on role, where the resource will interface with the client in pre-sales and delivery phases to help land deals and subsequently can be involved in delivery.

The BA is the key member in the practice, with responsibilities in several areas, including:
o Pre-Sales – Meet with potential clients to explain basics of project lifecycle; help to close deals.
o Planning Studies – Serve as key resource to map out project scope
o Delivery – Offer execution resource support and guidance from a domain perspective during all phases of a project, including project planning, client interviews, business requirement gathering, gap analyses, client’s user training, testing, data conversion, reporting, etc.

Responsibilities:
• Gather business requirements using different requirements gathering techniques ( e.g. interviews, surveys, use case outlines, workshops etc.)
• Analyze and document business requirements using Document Requirement templates, Use Cases and model/diagram based requirements documentation tools
• Analyze the impact of business requirements changes to the project
• Work with the business stakeholders to rationalize and prioritize the business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into software requirements specifications
• Collaborate with the technical resources to ensure that the system design adequately reflects the business requirements
• Assist in the development of Test scenarios and test cases from a business perspective
• Assist with system integration, user acceptance testing and end-user training
• Contribute to practice building activities like White papers publication, Assets creation, Creating centers of excellence etc.,
• Provide support to pre-sales activities like RFIs and RFPs
• Carrying out Business Consultancy assignments
• Act as team lead on assigned business functions as required and supervise team members to complete assignments on time
• Willing to travel and/or handle overseas assignment location if required

Experience - 3 to10+ years

Position Requirements

Skills / Qualifications Required:
• Possess 5-7 years of banking/consulting industry experience.
• Experience as a Business Analyst in technology based projects
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (fluency in mandarin / cantonese an advantage)
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Prior core banking replacement cycle implementation experience is an advantage.
• A Bachelors degree. MBA is an advantage
